No one removes their bearings often enough to necessitate buying a bearing press. I could see skate shops needing it, but not individuals.

Hi forgive my ignorance but is the top shoe/boot part of the skate yours and you just attached that 5 wheel frame ? Or can the whole thing just be purchased in one whole piece? My background is online skating with 4 wheels but After a 8 year hiatus I want to try 5. Please advise

I started last year to learn to ice skate during winter, when they take ice off, they allow people to in-line & roller skate 3 days a week. Our roller rink, shut down awhile ago, now two ladies opened up a new one. For me I need available times & affordable & classes-too would help. Ian just learnig, but would like to add roller skating sometime.

Wow I bought a set of Fan jets in 1984 for $200 New Zealand when I was 14 years old and yes they were really good for speed skating to,if you have a pair you will know what I'm saying,I'm 53 now and still talk about how great they were.

This is the most realistic video ive seen so far. Ppl seem to romanticize it a lot but honestly its definitely rough out here. I used to ice skate, bought the 4 wheels bcz i thought they were cute. Went outside. Immediately wrecked. Like learning from day one. I also might have to invest in inline skates. Thx!

I used to skate the Katy trail nearly 20 years ago. I just got a pair and am trying to get the feel again. I'm 61 and limited to what I can do for a workout due to surgeries from contact sports. I have the bike, bands, stretching and now adding inline. I've taken the skates out twice and muscles that haven't been used are not happy right now. Hope to see you on the trails.

I suck at inline skating my ankles are very weak and balance is off, so what can i do to strengthen those areas? I can skate alright in quad skates though, so can i use those to help me become better with balance with my inline skates?

Is it possible to change the cuff, and the 45° strap for like FR iGors stuff? Altough you said they need a carbon cuff the least, it is the buckle mechanic that kills them for my purpose. Same as the 45° strap, I somehow like the built for FR 45° straps.

I just got hosed buying a skate based on my foot length that I discovered after skating in too long to return don't fit me. Way too many pressure points. Now I've got to sell them at a huge discount because they're used even though they're basically brand new without a scratch on them. Not pleased. I have the same thoughts about sizing in the inline skate industry. You almost always have to buy online and it's a total crap shoot. Lots of time and money gets wasted through this chaos.

Yes i kept leaning forward when i rockered mine. But my turns and spins look like a pro. Not good for just vibe skating. For that i would keep them all one size.

Pretty smooth. I've been working on forward to backward and backward to forward transitions - trying to skate around the faceoff circle while facing the same direction the whole time. Anything backward on one foot is out of reach right now.

Thanks for posting this video. Im curious to know how tall the endless frame set up on a FRx80 skate is when compared to the stock FR frame (with the same size wheels for both set ups). Does the boot height end up being taller or shorter to the ground?
